In order to meet the food needs of the growing population, the Department of Agricultural Extension has been able to produce bumper crops of horticultural crops ie vegetables, fruits and flowers in the past year through the transfer of advanced technology among the farmers. Dhanbari, Horticulture Center under the Horticulture Wing has been carrying out significant activities in the expansion of horticultural crops. In this program, quality seedlings/cuttings, seed production and distribution program has been strengthened among the farmers. 1,26,956 through the Atra Horticulture Center in the last three years
Fruit seedlings/plants, 25,193 flower plants/plants, 25,193 ornamental plants/plants, 4,900 medicinal plants/plants, 40,180 spice plants/plants, 87,000 vegetable plants and 8000 plants/plants under special programmes. . 34,29,541/- in the previous financial years 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22.
Also won 2nd place as best stall in 4th National Development Fair.
